Local AI Implementation

Put AI to work on your own devices or servers. Search internal documents, draft material and support everyday tasks while keeping sensitive information within your organisation.

AI that works where your data lives.

Local AI runs the model on hardware your organisation controls. A fully local workflow can process prompts, documents and responses without sending them to an external AI provider. We scope the work around your data requirements, select suitable models and build the controls needed to keep processing within the agreed environment. Your team controls who can use it, what it can access and how it is maintained.

How we can help.

We shape the engagement around the work you need to move forward.

  • Useful work with private information

Help staff find answers in approved policies and manuals, summarise reports, draft internal documents or transcribe recordings. We test the selected use case with your team and make source material available for review. People check outputs before relying on them for decisions.

  • Models and hardware matched to the task

Compare models that can run locally against representative work. Assess answer quality, response time, hardware capacity and licence terms before selecting a workstation or internal server setup. Agree the cost of equipment and ongoing operation before expanding a pilot.

  • Keep the whole workflow local

Run document preparation, search indexes, speech processing and model responses inside the agreed environment. Disable cloud fallback and review telemetry, plugins and external connections. For offline operation, stage approved models and updates separately, then test the workflow with internet access blocked.

  • Protect access and stored information

Set up authentication and permissions so staff can retrieve only the material they are authorised to see. Restrict network access and protect stored data and network traffic with encryption appropriate to the setup. Agree retention and deletion rules for prompts, files, logs and backups.

  • Connect internal systems with clear limits

Connect selected ERP records, document stores or development tools using accounts limited to the agreed task. Start with read access where practical and require approval for consequential changes. Test misleading instructions in documents and attempts to access restricted records before enabling actions.

  • Use local AI during implementation

Where the project requires it, use local models to work with your source code, configuration and sample records during development and testing. Agree how project files, support access and backups are handled so delivery work follows the same data boundaries as the finished system.

  • Verify the data boundary and remaining dependencies

Inspect network activity and test blocked outbound connections to check that the agreed workflow does not depend on an external AI service. Local deployment still relies on model files, software dependencies, hardware and administrators. We document these dependencies and any approved external services so your team can assess the trust each requires.

  • Handover, updates and recovery

Provide operating instructions and a record of the configuration, access rules and test results. Agree who manages security updates, model changes and incidents. Include backup and recovery checks in the scope, and retest the workflow when a model or integration changes.

Where we begin.

Bring one workflow, the sensitivity of the information it uses and your existing devices or servers. We agree where data may be processed, who needs access and whether internet connectivity is allowed. A focused pilot establishes quality, performance and security acceptance criteria before a wider rollout.

What the work delivers.

Depending on scope, you receive a working local AI workflow, an explanation of where its data goes, tested access and network controls, and a practical handover. The results record what was verified and any remaining limits. Ongoing support and maintenance are agreed separately.

Let’s define the next step.
